X-RAY STRESS MEASUREMENTS

· Provide the ability to decide which parts will require a suitable percentage of glycol to prevent distortion.

· Allow one to measure internal stress of previously processed parts to evaluate if further processing, using glycol quenching, can reduce stress enough to salvage parts.

· Pin point stress areas in poorly designed parts allowing for design changes.
